Our Sumatra Arabica Lake Tawar coffee brews a slightly sweet, full-bodied cup with hints of chocolate highlighting its complex flavor. This coffee is cultivated on the northern end of the island of Sumatra at about 1200 m in volcanic soils, and is triple harvested and hand sorted. Triple harvesting, whereby the coffee trees are hand picked three times throughout the harvest period ensures the coffee cherries are at their peak of ripeness. Hand sorting of the coffee beans after processing results in the large uniform size and quality of the green coffee beans that go into Sumatra Arabica Lake Tawar coffee.
